BREAKING: Madzibaba veShanduko Cleared as Court Dismisses Charges After Months in Detention
HARARE – Madzibaba veShanduko has been acquitted of the charges that kept him in detention for several months, bringing an end to a case that had attracted significant public attention.
Reacting to the judgment, Gift Ostallos welcomed the acquittal but said the ruling highlighted the injustice suffered by an innocent man who spent months behind bars for an offence he did not commit.
"His acquittal is not only a vindication of his innocence but also an indictment of a system that subjected him to unlawful and unnecessary detention," said Ostallos.
